How to opt in to online-only custodial reporting.
Custodial reports are issued directly to investors on a six-monthly basis under section 229Q of the Financial Markets Conduct Act. Customers can choose to receive these electronically under section 229R, but they must opt in themselves. This post explains how to opt in to electric reporting with NZXWT. Once opted in, you’ll no longer receive these reports by mail.
First, you’ll need to log into the investor portal. Get in touch with us if you don’t have access. Once logged in, select the settings link in the. top right corner of the page:
Once in the settings screen, edit the portfolio preferences. If you have more than one portfolio, you’ll only need to do this on one of them:
You can now select the portfolios you’d like to opt in for electronic reporting. This will mean you’ll no longer receive the reports by mail.
