Giveaway

As a welcome gift to new clients, we’re giving away copies of economist Kyle Scanlon’s new book, In This Economy?

Kyla is a Bloomberg columnist who coined the term “vibecession” in her writing in 2022, a term that refers to peoples negative feelings towards the economy in spite of economic performance being strong. Her book does a great job of explaining economic principals in simple, clear language, and is a great read for anyone interested in understanding the basics of how economies work.

If you’d like a copy, just email Thomas at thomas@multiplynz.com. The first five people to do so will receive a copy of Kyla’s book (an actual, physical copy that we’ll courier to you).

Why are you my Adviser now?

We have entered into an agreement to take over customers of The Advice Hub due to changes in the commitments of The Advice Hub team. Multiply has agreed to take over a number of their customers in support.

Is anything about my KiwiSaver or insurance going to change?

Your KiwiSaver and insurance products will not change as a result of the change to your financial adviser.

We will be reaching out to clients directly over the next few weeks to introduce ourselves and to discuss any questions you may have about us or the change.

Your KiwiSaver and insurance needs change over time, so it’s important to review them regularly with your adviser. We’ll also talk to you about scheduling your regular reviews moving forward, so we can discuss how your needs have changed and whether your financials services should change too.

What about my mortgage?

If you currently have a mortgage that was brokered by or is under advice of The Advice Hub, this will continue. This transfer of advice services is limited to KiwiSaver and insurance advice and does not included mortgages that are currently under advice of The Advice Hub.

However, if you do not have a mortgage currently, and are thinking about buying a new property or upgrading a current one, Multiply does provide mortgage brokerage and property advice – so please get in touch if you’d like to discuss how we can support you on this.

How do I contact my adviser?

Can you help me with advice on other financial services?

Absolutely. In addition to KiwiSaver and insurance advice, we advise clients on long-term Financial Planning, Investing, Mortgages and Property, as well as Tax and Accounting services for business owners or self-employed people.

If you want to talk to us about any of the above and how we can support you, please get in touch.

What happens if I need to make an insurance claim?

If you need to make a claim on an existing insurance policy, you can either:

We encourage clients who need to make claims to contact first us so we can support you through the process, but if you’d rather deal with the insurer directly then you’re welcome to do so.

How do I access my KiwiSaver?

You can log into the Superlife KiwiSaver portal at this link here.

If you want to request a KiwiSaver withdrawal for a first home purchase, you can contact us to guide you through the process of making a first home buyer withdrawal. You can also find the withdrawal request forms here (PDF). Make sure you do this well in advance of settlement as withdrawals can take several weeks to process.

If you’d like to request a withdrawal because you’ve reached the age of eligibility, are experiencing financial hardship, or some other reason, contact us on the details above to discuss how to arrange.
